This Yellow Buckeye has gone well past yellow into red and brown, while even the morning dew cannot revive the dry grasses of the Meadow. But some trees are more prone to heat exhaustion than others, and as for grasses turning brown, well, that's what they do. The Summer-long green lawn is a human contrivance; others must make hay while the Sun shines. Sure, it's hot, but we suck it up, and study long-term trends, and wonder: can the weather ever be wrong?
