The Wildflower Meadow is still green, except for the Goldenrod, a late bloomer living up to its name, but you can see Autumn encroaching in the lengthening angle of the light. What you can’t see is the plethora of birds. They were mostly too small, (warblers average about five inches long,) not to mention moving too fast, for me to photograph. Besides, I was too busy just watching them.
