The Butterfly Gardens are a relatively recent addition to the Park. They’re small, but packed with more flowers than I know. Bergamot and Coneflowers above, Buddleia below, with a baseball diamond in the distance.




Buddleia’s common name of butterfly bush is apt; the blossoms entice a wide variety of species. So where are they, you ask? Well, there’s a Tiger Swallowtail in the picture below, but as I often point out around here, you’ve got to look close...




If you had trouble spotting it, you need to spend more time in the Park. Or even if you didn’t.
