Allegedly Prescott Bush, GHWB's dad, was part owner of a Ruhr valley company that was nationalized by the Nazis and continued its production through the war, using slave labor. Prescott never sold his interest in the company; the money was put in trust, and eventually went to GHWB. I forgot where I read this; it was a US source.
