I saw a few of these as schaefer. mostly todd rundgren. then a few dr peppers. peter paul and mary. you could find a spot on the rocks outside the arena (skating rink) that had stage views and decent sound. never warmed to the pier, but in 1981 the plasmatics got some notoriety for on stage car smash, chain saws, etc. moved to e 3rd st in march '83 from Pelham Manor, Westchester, NY.
