watching paris texas now because of you dave

yeah, but i saw it in paris. youd have to see it in texas have any claim on it though a nastassja kinski anecdote will suffice.

• some good movies on that list and some stinkers. laura and the third man are classic noir films. the cook the thief... i liked a lot at the time. got into greenaway for a bit as a result. never hear much about the sheltering sky. probably should revisit that some day. i have wild at heart on the dvr but i never dig in. was reading those henry miller books at the time so henry and june fit right in.

• My mom and HDS both had the same music teacher a couple years apart in HS. He was a waiter (house boy) at her sorority at UK.
