was relating elsewhere (again) that i rarely have the patience for subtitled films anymore. dont feel like you are really watching the movie. well, i too, was endeavoring to watch a bertolucci film last week, that being the last emperor, which was not in chinese, but in english. unfortunately, watching a movie set in early 20th century china, replete with imperial splendor, was not an easy watch in english even if some of the accents were self consciously re-oriented. so didnt get very far. didnt help that he was just a child for the first half hour or so running around the forbidden city followed by anxious retainers while occasionally suckling at a teat well past the age we would find appropriate. take that, (pauses to decide if he should look up game of thrones character who did same but decides against it as it will confound some and impress no one) game of thrones character who did same!

never heard of vivarium but i do always like the idea of the name "imogen poots."
