Prime of Miss Jean Brody (creepy, fresh take on facism)
Waiting for Guffman (funny, heartwarming)
Anchorman (weeeeird socio-historical comedy drama set in the 70s)
Sponge Bob Square Pants the movie (over-the-top pyschedelic)
Forbidden Zone (imdb calls it a "a chaotic musical fantasy." They are correct.)
Umbrellas of Cherbourg (watch it for the art direction, if nothing else!)
Saddest Music in the World (gets my vote for best Canadiana ever)
