chips ahoy
never quite understood the last lines to the all in the family themesong. thought it was "gro la salle ran great" was some reference to a politician or a high school track team. but i was reading a book about the 20s today and they mentioned general motors had a line of cars called the lasalle. and for whatever reason many hours later i was humming the themesong as i stuffed my face with tortilla chips and i had a revelation not unlike constantine. they were talking about a car! saints be praised. now if i could only figure out who the man is that chico speaks of. *the lasalle division was created to fill the gaping yaw between the well-off patrons of buicks and the well-to-do owners of cadillacs.
