So, as they said, many of those where summer replacement shows. The quality was super low. I liked reading the credits for “stars” never to be seen again, a few b grade movie chestnut actors and the ones who would make some kind of career mark.
Also I watched mostly on a b and w portable with rabbit ears. I wasn't in the city yet but in the NY market without cable and you had to sit through local commercials. My nyc friends had manhattan cable and could get uncle Floyd and a couple of racy shows.
