Hannitized

The thing about Sirius radio is you can pick up all sorts of crap.

While driving across California on Thursday, I flipped to the Fox Noise Channel to hear the audio of that awesome teevee network. The Hannity and Colmes Variety Hour was on, and the lead story was Korea.

Hannity tees up the story by asking how "the media" will distort the obvious foreign policy win by the Boy Prince, because, you know, they always try to make Bush look stupid. And then Sean introduces his guest: John "the mustache of terror" Bolton.

Heh, heh, I says. Someone hasn't been paying attention to the coverage of this breaking story. Or perhaps a malicious producer has set up the Seanster up for an embarrassment.

Bolton immediately starts ripping into the failings of the Bush policy on North Korea -- as he had been doing all day to any open mic he could find. Without missing a beat, Sean pivots (isn't that such an au courant word?), and lines up with Bolton to bash this horrible policy.

While his regular viewers must be missing that part of the brain that detects cognitive dissonance, Sean is missing that part of the brain that feels shame.
