Big Comapanies R Teh Awesome
When it comes to technical stuff, I tend not to read manuals -- except as a last resort. If I have to read a manual to use a website, to operate a camcorder, to print a document, then something is wrong. To the designer of such things: Ur doin it rong!
So, I need to print out raise notifications as part of my job with my very large employer. I flail around with the website (why didn't they just attach PDFs in the first place???) for about 15 minutes. Then I search my email for instructions. They have -- I shit you not -- an 18 page power point with diagrams with arrows pointing to stuff and text boxes describing what they're point at.
I need an eighteen page power point to tell me how print three pages.
Feel teh awesomeness!
i still get my raise thought, right?
Um ... here's the deal ... see, the profit margins ... and, uh ... hey housing prices are down (in Stockton), so that's something
