New Chant Needed

I was listening to one of the blowhards last night. Might have been 9u11ani. He launches into how inexperienced Obama is compared to Miss City Council. And the crowd starts chanting something. I'm all, "WTF? Are they saying Negro, Negro, Negro?!" Turns out they were chanting "zero" --- as in "zee row, zee row, zee row".

Later on they chanted again. Sounded like "Sieg Heil, Sieg Heil, Sieg Heil."

It was probably just a few bad apples.

Sounded like the whole auditorium to me. Also. I thought there were supposed to be warnings before shows with questionable subject matter. If we're going to be warned about nudity and drugs and foul language I think we should also be warned about the potential psychic damage from watching Republicans en masse. If I wanted to have nightmares every night I could just watch the Exorcist before going to bed. But I'm going to punish myself one more night and watch that finale speaker this evening.

I'm watching it online, CNN streaming, which for the most part has minimal commentary, and every speech in its entirety.

i thought the "drill baby drill" chant was equally odious.

It has to be filtered through The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Too scary otherwise.

I agree, without Stewart and Colbert I would be in a serious funk. Yeah really, drill baby drill. Have they no shame? Oh, I guess that question was already long ago answered.

Especially since McCain himself admitted that drilling wouldn't have any impact on prices at all! They really think the American people are stupid and they might be right!

There are at least 40 million idiots out there. The 2004 election proved that conclusively.
