Sally McKay's Top Ten things that made me excited about doing art projects in 2007
1. Andrea Fraser's performance Official Welcome, seen at Power Plant as part of Auto Emotion: Autobiography, emotion and self-fashioning (link is to youtube...Fraser's performance is all there)
2. Amos Latteier's performance as Master of Ceremonies at this year's Subtle Technologies conference. Over the two days, he delivered a whole lecture about "Figures" in tiny 2-5 minute chunks between presentations.
3. Kara Hearn's video, One Thing After Another
4. Halil Altindere's video installation, Dengbêjs at Documenta
5. Michael Belmore's installation at Tree Museum (sorry, no pics)
6. L.M.'s gifs
7. Richard Hill's lecture/presentation on his exhibition World Upside Down
8. Tangerines in a Red Net Bag
9. The activity room at the Bay Area Maker Fair
10. Hanging out with GVB
bonus: Mr. Wilson's December 25th drawing at the Arboretum is a sad and lovely bleak midwinter moment
