I'm looking for small glass beads roughly the color and clarity of coke bottles. I'd like to replicate an antique glass bead door curtain I once saw.

from rituals of adornment : "Sandcast powder beads are quite diverse. They are also referred to as powder beads. Many of the current sandcast beads are made from the recycled glass of the bottle of products from the West, such as 'Milk of Magnesia', 'Ponds Cold Cream', beer and 'Coke' bottles. These colors are brighter than the older versions, which are much deeper shades of blue and green, with a wide variety of black beads and patterns. These beads are made in a clay brick containing many cylinder-shaped depression molds for the individual beads. Each of these is filled with glass ground to a powder. A stick is placed in the middle where the hole will be. Patterns are created on the beads by either layering contrasting colors of glass, to create horizontal stripes or a wavy pattern. Vertical stripes are created by inserting a straw along the side of the mold, and removing it. This space is then filled with a glass powder of another color. They are then fired in a low fire clay oven. The temperature is enough to fuse the glass particles, leaving the beads with a grainy surface, rather than one with a high patina."
