I don't like this list, but actually I think it would be pretty helpful for the client/consumer.
I think the most important thing in working with an architect, is picking the architect. If you are going to work with a firm, know who on the team is going to be assigned to your project (often partners make presentations and then they disappear. You get stuck with someone you have never met, or worse, don't feel comfortable with). Also, in-depth referrals from past clients are key.

thats 11 and 12, thanks. our family used to subscribe to consumer reports. it covered everything. we need more consumer education on how to consume better and how to consume less. ralph, get back to work.
