So what is the feeling about this? Travesty? Uninteresting? Brilliant? I have a hard time believing Apple can do architecture that will pass muster around here. But I like that you guys are tough!
I like how there is no bottom to the cube, so the underground store gets lots of light.

Sort of a cube version of IM Pei's pyramidal entrance to the Louvre (profound observation based on the jpeg).
thats the first thing i thought of (the louvre). although, if i recall correctly, you dont enter/descend through the pyramid. pretty slick in my opinion. but can you douche with it?
You can't douche with it but you do enter/descend through the pyramid at the Louvre. You have access to multiple museums through an underground level under the flagstones that you enter through the pyramid.
