ive been using two of these exclusively for for refinishing 120 year old parquet floors w/ 60, 80, and 120 grit sandpaper and then hand brushing on the poly

Yikes, what a nasty job that drum sanding must be. I'm surprised he didn't hit the corners with one of these.

I know this is a floor thread, and your's must be looking very handsome by now, but for cabinet, closet and bedroom doors I've been using Daly's Pro Fin (satin). Brush on, let stand five to ten minutes then wipe with a soft cloth. Three or four coats, sanding with 120 grit between each. Results are good, very much like a sprayed finish.

yeah, that triangle sander is what you really need for corners. thanks for the tip on daly's pro finish paint.
