its not going to happen. but im torn between 68 (1st year for c3 model) and 69. which run somewhat higher than the 70-74 models.

Who else remembers the 1970's Audi tv commercial where a c3 'vette gets crushed by a 4 cylinder Audi (Fox? 100ls?) on a slalom course? If memory serves it did more damage to the Corvette image than it did to boost Audi's at the time.
i remember audi 5000s supposedly running over children while placed in park. i always loved the c3 styling and anticipated their '68 release from seeing maco shark proto types in mid 60's car mags.
