So that's what they are called.
The first time I was in Germany I saw a whole bunch of black ones dotting the countryside. My companion explained that they were for NATO aircraft installed during the cold war when everyone had their fingers on the trigger. I was amazed to see them because they were one of the images that figured strongly in all my cold war childhood nightmares. (the ones where tanks were ripping all over the park across the street and I could only hide in the hall closet)
