i agree. although i need to suss out a few things. end to end spicing is not visible, algorithms (!?), tree warp and weft (!?). will read deeper and report back.

here we see visable splices in the planks. i also think i see repeating patterns in the edges. so im not sure how they are more efficient use of the raw wood. so ill keep reading.
I think all the pieces are unique. jobs are custom cut to room specifications. It must come bundled & numbered (and diagramed?) for installation, so you better not screw up one of the pieces.
