I don't understand the use of osb, especially for furniture and without any trim in the doorways. The stuff is so fragile I imagine it turning into sawdust on the edges in a couple of years. And the labor costs must have been huge, to fit it all together so seamlessly is slow going. Then there's the off gassing...I have similar reservations about plywood floors and walls, to make these materials work in a way that they weren't designed to is so expensive that it seems wasteful.

Generally it's a substrate material. I can see moving in after faze one of a multiple faze project. I liked that they compared it to barn hay. But even doing the all plywood interior minimal thing can look dodgy. I can see sacrificing appearance for economy and structure. But as just a style I don't think so. Also that off gassing! Baltic birch is hot.

Yeah, the Baltic birch is nice, but it's furniture grade plywood so it makes perfect sense for furniture. But using it for finished flooring material must really be expensive, what with labor costs and any waste. What is it, $80 per 4x8 sheet? Floor boards are designed to easily butt up to and notch around floors and doors. One slight miscalculation with plywood and you may have to kiss the sheet goodbye.
