What's the deal with that orange and red framed poster
You don't think it's Ellsworth Kelly?
I don't think it's Kelly. But that's the best guess I can think of. I'm stumped. It's part endless summer too. I thought it could be a trade show poster.
I did a big search through Kelly's work, and can't find it. The Endless Summer angle's a good one. Hmmm.
Wish I could read the writing at the bottom.
I was thinking the same thing. I wrote to Ingo Maurer this morning for help with this. Let's see if someone deigns to reply.
i blew it up but still cant read it.
Rupprecht Geiger, ftw!
thanks Dave!. thanks too Justin. I think Rupert is rocking the Kelly/endless summer esthetic.
Hey, thanks! Damn, that's nice work.
How did you find it Dave?
that last word looked like "geiger" and once i subtracted out "giger" there were some similar pieces a couple of pages down on google images. if i knew they were color field paintings (as i should have) it would have been even easier to find.
FTW!
nice print. he's credited with bringing florescent paint to modern art. some studio pernicious.
