My friend has lived on houseboats for 35 years. They don't really offer the Jimmy Buffet lifestyle one might imagine.
Right under the Highway on the Columbia. Dense boat population. Might be too fumey for me but would love that house thirty or forty miles up or downriver. Although fishing might be good under that bridge. As long as I don't have to listen to Margaritaville all day and night.
