I'm looking for confirmations on what all happened. It seems knowable. We can take it from there.

The House of Representatives has refused to investigate either one of the two massive ongoing legal and ethical violations involving the Trump administration: President Trump’s opaque ties (financial and otherwise) to Russia, and his ongoing self-enrichment in office and violations of the Constitution’s Emoluments Clause.

click Tuesday for link

Tuesday the Republican-dominated House Judiciary Committee is expected to reject House Democrats’ Resolution for a formal inquiry into the the potential ethical and legal violations committed by the Trump campaign apparatus in its contacts, communications and financial transactions with Russia during the run-up to Trump’s election last November, and throughout the transition since then. It will also reject calls to examine evidence of Trump’s solicitation and receipt of foreign gifts intended to influence American policy, and the potential violations of the Emoluments Clause of the United States Constitution.

The evidence pointing to Trump’s betrayal of American strategic interests has (thus far) included illegal contacts between Trump emissaries and Putin officials concerning  the lifting of existing U.S. sanctions, evidence that the Trump campaign was aware of and likely complicit in Russian efforts to sway the election to Trump through Russian propaganda, and evidence suggesting that Trump himself may be compromised and subject to Russian blackmail due to either his financial dealings or his unusual sexual proclivities. These issues, unearthed by our intelligence agencies, directly implicate the integrity of our national government. It’s difficult to imagine any matter that could be more compelling for investigation and resolution. This is, in essence, a  determination whether an elected President has been corrupted, compromised, or tainted by a hostile foreign power.

the question was asked elsewhere : "How did this narrative gain so much traction? And who gained from it?"

I would guess that since the search for truth is privatized in for profit news outlets that are experiencing failing business models and with 24 hr news cycles that the pressure is on to deliver 24 hr infotainment. you can have your news (or any product) quick, cheep and good, but you can only choose two, as they say. The sensational news header: BREAKING as click bate. the drip drip drip of information surfacing in the ongoing Trump/Kremlin investigations feed a collective connecting of the dots to establish an accurate narrative.

desperation must certainly had set in for team HRC in dealing with the Never Hillary clusterfuck shitstorm of distortion and disinformation coming from right and left as well as the realisation of self inflicted wounds and campaign miscalculations. + aysemetrical wiki leaks, Steele's quasi-substantiated dossier leak, pizzagate, russian $ trail, trumps lies (incl election fraud claims), republican obstructionism, voter supression, Killlary meme, bad health meme, Comey x2, Giuliani/nyc police/nyc fbi...

It’s long been documented that a private email server inside Donald Trump‘s home base Trump Tower was communicating almost exclusively with a Russian bank during the 2016 election. More recently it’s been documented that the server also had connections to Trump’s Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos (link). But based on new data analysis from political pundit Tea Pain, it turns out there was a whole lot more going back and forth than just email – and Trump’s son in law Jared Kushner was at the center of it.
