yeah, the tv money in spain makes competing with barca and real difficult. in england its about half as bad as spain while i think germany has the most equitable split. not sure about italy. the only downside to making the league more competitive by sharing revenue from the spanish football associations perspective is that every year that have two teams that are considered world class and compete for the top honor in club football which is the champions league trophy. but i could understand how fans in sevilla would be tired of competing for third best.

recently there was a fan uprising in genoa where fans blocked the entrance to the tunnel where players exit the field and demanded the players remove their jerseys because they werent giving an effort deemed worthy of the team. all but one player acquiesced.
