guess its your average fall saturday crowd for college football in michigan but 109,000 plus were in attendance for a soccer exhibition match in august making it the largest crowd ever for a soccer game in the us.
Crazy big stadium. Surprised the 94 cup didnt draw bigger crwds... Smaller arenas i guess.
the stadium has the third largest capacity of any stadium in the world. the maracana where the world cup final was held once could hold 200,000 although that included large standing only sections. apparently the upper level collapsed so they decreased the capacity and made it seated only.
