i just liked this because lionel messi (far left) looks like he is dressed for class pictures compared to his mostly brazilian teammates. also, none of them is taller than 5'7". not quite the fashion plates as some nba players but at least a c+ for effort.

just watching it now. gets pretty sloppy floppy midway through the second half. lots of cheap fouls and yellows. real looked better early on but didnt put the ball away. barcelonas era of ball domination seems to be waning as real controlled midfield for most of the game and barcelona played long balls forward to counter attack instead of their normal measured pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass approach. barcelona did dominate the last 20 minutes though.

it was a rather bitchy match. i guess ronaldo just walks off the field without shaking hands with other team bc he knows they all can't stand him? or bc they lost?

he is a prima donna but i doubt they cant stand him. first place on the line against their biggest rivals (barcelona and personally, messi) i would just assume he wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible after a disappointing loss. i didnt see it but he may well have had a couple of handshakes and made a beeline for the exit. there is not a hard and fast rule that requires you to be convivial after the game. just convention. although if a head coach doesnt shake hands with the other that is often called out as high treason.
