Watching timbers at vancouver on tv. Timbers army must have gone en masse, you can hear them chanting loud and clear.

i was flipping back and forth between kentucky vs notre dame and mexico vs. ecuador. and there was a lot of flipping as it feels like there must be 100 time outs per side in college basketball.

its an international break from club teams in soccer so there have been games all week into next. it is really stupid the way they do it breaking for international play every couple of months for a week and a half. would be so much more compelling if there were no breaks and they had an international season from mid may to early july. i would love to hear what kind of bs they use to justify the system as is.

was that a friendly or is there some uefa equivalent going on in the americas? and your not the only one who doesn't like this schedule.

concacaf (north and central america) has the gold cup every two years and conmebol (south america) has the copa america also every two years. both take place this summer as opposed to eufas euro (cup?) which is next summer. considering the number of teams it would make some sense to combine the two american cups. as it is conmebol invites two teams outside of south america to participate to round their number up to 12. that would raise the profile of the event by some measure.

to answer your question it was a friendly.
