look who suddenly is interested in sports, or the lack thereof. i have read ad-infinitum on my feed today that it is technically a strike and not a boycott as it is a labor action. splitting hairs for sure but for the left it does highlight the viability of this form of protest to effect change.
the bigger news is that supposedly the lakers and the clippers voted to walkout and end the season mid-playoffs. there was supposedly some wiggle room that it wasnt etched in stone and may be just to get some action from the owners. but hard to know what they could accomplish under the gun, no pun intended.
they backed down and will finish the playoffs.
