i would suggest that at least professionally they are measured by their ranking moreso than their earnings but both are true, she is the highest earning and ranking arab tennis player. she is also the highest ranked african player though who can forget the great johan kriek? i could but i was curious about south african players and i looked it up, and despite winning two grand slams in the 80s was never higher ranked than 7. seems inconceivable.
