silversmith Bill Tendler had a shop on McDougal street in the 50's, 60's and 70's. I have found little documentation but there are many examples in google images.

He Made this list, I have favorite necklace by Betty Cook, remember Ed Weiner would occasionally show up at pier show, bought my first Sarah Macfadden because it reminded me of work from that era. Could never afford but loved Art Smith

I've heard a story about A Calder carrying a spool of silver wire and a pair of needle nose plyers in his pocket and making jewelry gifts at parties. yes this stuff reminded me of Sarah's work. good company!

My mom had some pieces that remind some of these works but she really favored Tibetan and middle eastern jewelry and African trade beads. I love seeing old ladies wearing gobs of this modern stuff.

my mom had some mexican stuff from Taxco. tarnished quickly due to high tin count. thanks mb will check on those guys. this is the MCM search and modern jewelry search from the same site. some taxco mixed in. I also love fish skeleton motif. and steve I do notice those older women who sport an awsome silver collection. impresive !
