Seems like to "control the eastern Mediterranean" Israel would have to fight Syria, which has a big stretch of coast between Lebanon and Turkey. I could see where Turkey would be part of this pipeline plot (which means we have to keep them happy vis a vis the Kurds), but not sure about Israel's role in it. Also the "plotting" assumes Cheney's a geopolitical genius and we know now he's just a blowhard screwup from Wyoming.
