i saw it in real time. excellent!
i watched cheney most of the time durring the SOTU speech. after such a bad day for him he remained.. steely. evil fuck.
i turned it on just prior to webb coming on. then i watched msnbcs postgame coverage before watching a few minutes of bushs address on cspan. amazing how substance-free the coverage can be. (they were falling all over themselves praising bush for being congenial toward nancy pelosi.) i did notice that olbermann has graduated to co-anchor with chris matthews for the big ticket political events. this is the second time ive seen them paired and you can tell they are still trying to hold their egos in check and find some chemistry. matthews is clearly threatened by olbermanns wit intelligence and by the fact that he has yet to succumb to the amorality if not immorality practiced by the political and media elites. olbermann, meanwhile, has to appear to play the game and respect his peers while trying to infuse some analysis which might provoke some thoughtfulness, at home and among the talking heads.

im just glad he found some money to afford the flight home. id hate to see him end up sleeping on a park bench somewhere. do they still have parks in NOLA?
Depending on what you are looking for in park; I would say they actually have considerably more park land now.
