its possible. according to yglesias account obama had no sense of the blogosphere as late as the summer of 04. could be that its just a way to diminish their importance by making it seem like theyre not even worth knowing. or he just wasnt listening until his name came up in the conversation. after all, it was just some chatty liberal and a lesbian to boot. she probably barely registers on the matthews meter. then again, he was off camera and probably has a producer buzzing the entire night in his ear so who knows.
