a tangential (if that) comment ... I like reading stuff from rational people who have a different point of view. That's been difficult for a while now. Looking back to that Quinn article from 1998 (linked elsewhere) our national discourse has been fucked for a decade. But the crap I hear about Obama is off the hook. Everyone has flaws, but the stuff their talking about isn't even sanctimonious hyperinflation of foibles -- it's indistinguishable from the delusional rants of schizophrenics -- in content and tone.
Thus ... "terrorist fist bump". I really don't see hope for recovery of the mental health of the right wing punditocracy any time soon..
