obama - i got this

Almost no line to vote at essex & houston. Our friend in chinatown says she's been waiting 2 hours already.

Live NYT Blog:

Philadelphia Suburbs | 6:39 p.m. Fox is also reporting that in the Philadelphia suburbs, Bucks County — historically red but it turned blue this year — is voting 2-1 for Mr. Obama. If that holds up, it would be a strong sign that Mr. McCain’s Pennsylvania strategy was perhaps not airtight.

- dave 11-05-2008 1:01 am

Nate Silver isn't calling Penn yet (as of 8:15pm), but it seems pretty good.
- jim 11-05-2008 1:21 am

neither is cnn but chris matthews is from pennsylvania so he should know. he even knows the ward heelers by name.
- dave 11-05-2008 1:30 am

of course, msnbc is in the tank for obama. they even banished the conservative pundits to the outer reaches of their studio.
- dave 11-05-2008 1:32 am

I can't even hear the TV over here. So if anyone (Dave) wants to post what's going on I would appreciate it. From what I can gather Virginia is still too close to call.

Any updates welcome!

when its all over i expect hell take fl, nc and va.
- dave 11-05-2008 2:52 am

Hope so. I thought that going into it, but now I'm so stressed I'm just happy for any outcome in which Obama wins. A big win would be good, but I don't really care.

I guess if we stay up we'll have to tune into the senate races.

Sure you're not coming over Dave?
- jim 11-05-2008 2:54 am

i dont think so. id have to put on clothes. seems like a real hassle lately. plus colbert and stewart are on live now.
