Effective Monday, @Lawrence O'Donnell anchors at 8 and Ed Schultz anchors at 10. @Maddow stays at 9.

even josh marshall who was on the show tonight had no idea it was going down. the twitters are abuzz with comcast conspiracies.

would be interesting if he was pushed out if he just said fuck the money and started a daily podcast.

shuster on ko.

seems like ko will get paid $7m for the next two years and will be prohibited from working elsewhere while he collects his pay. similarly but on a much smaller scale the same happened to the obnoxious adam corolla who stumbled into podcasting as a result and now has one of the most popular shows on itunes. i dont know if he is procluded from doing radio but why not just cut out the middleman and the hassles that come with it. longterm i could see him partnering with the huff post if they had designs on creating a liberal internet newschannel.

" Mr. Griffin, along with Jeff Zucker, the head of NBC Universal, and Steve Capus, the president of NBC News, had long protected and defended Mr. Olbermann, even when insiders like the NBC anchor emeritus Tom Brokaw publicly took Mr. Olbermann to task. Mr. Brokaw said Mr. Olbermann had “gone too far” in campaign coverage that openly took Democratic positions"
