I've been following Syria very closely for a long time now. It is always dangerous, but at the moment is seems particularly dangerous. Mainstream media reporting is all one voice against Assad, and Putin, and Iran, and Hezbollah. Here are some sources from the other side if you are interested and these aren't already on your radar. Are they "Russian trolls" spreading "fake news" or is there another side to the story where the U.S. isn't so "exceptional"?

And here's a longer Elijah Magnier piece on the danger of the current extremely dangerous situation in Syria:

The superpowers are on the verge of the abyss, so the danger of falling into a war of cosmic proposition is no longer confined to the imagination or merely a sensational part of unrealistic calculations.

“ . . . a war of cosmic proposition . . . “ like when God says “let there be light” but oops like it’s too much light and we all turn into a shrimp toast of the elements, or Spot Prawn tasting menus at St Peter’s table because the Faraday elevator is out of order; or one square kilometer of vantablack via fb quicker than you can say cuntnigger to the tune of Bukka White’s “Fixin’ To Die.” Is irony still the word for a poisonous wine served in a black cauldron to children. Jesus, Jim; you are the fucking Doomsday Machine; solves every puzzle but can’t connect a single dot. But I still love you. Spot Prawn, paired with a lovely Toluene. Spot Prawn, spot prawn: grasp, peel, insert in pie hole, chew with vigor, and swallow.

But aren’t most of Tsaron’s billionaire bros Atlantacist’s too? In on the reach around with Netanyahoo and all the other Hoos in Hooville keeping your menus safe for Spot Shrimp. Besides, there’s good money for a long time in blowing shit up; especially if you can blow it up in sand with lots of very tan women and children around and tint your bomb sales pitch with Apocalypse Green.. Who in their right mind really wants Spot Shrimp off the elements menu in Mayfair much less down the street from the Institute Of Advanced Fucking Kill Me? I mean if you are going to get your panties in a bunch about Syria maybe you should consider you missed the boat called the OCEAN. It’ll take ten servings of Syrian Armageddon to slake the thirst of that bitch and there won’t be no shrimp cocktails on the side. Yeah, that’s right, it’s me-time. You know, the drunk at the bar the bar full of drunks expelled, or should I say hypernormalised, for being testy; who’s still out on the curb losing it loudly. The play don’t end until you kill Hamlet; besides I have the flu and am pissy homestuck. o yeah, and Bill, fuck you twice, Jim was my friend, you prissy little twerp.

Years later, Israeli spooks are still raising bitter questions about the CIA’s intelligence failure. Former Mossad director Tamir Pardo asked in an interview with us: “Where were the Americans? North Korea is a highly important target for them. And it still isn’t clear whether [Syrian President Bashar] Assad was running the nuclear project, or was it the North Koreans?” The former spy chief added that he has some doubts that Syria was going to keep the plutonium, or perhaps it was going to be shipped to North Korea as a supply of which the West would be unaware. “This is a resounding failure by the Americans,” Pardo said.

Pardo’s questions raise another: If one of the best intelligence communities in the world, and certainly the most formidable in the Middle East, could be fooled by North Koreans and Syrians, what might the CIA be missing? That could be true in Korea, in Iran, or almost anywhere on Earth.

I love the silence that ensues when I deign to pause here; it’s downright Old Testament; and what better place to leave you than with this magnificent reading of The Book Of Job by John Berryman. Syria is very dangerous. . .
Did you really fucking say that, Jim. You best turn to the only book worth reading on the subject and pray the superintendent of the great surveillance valley missed your call:

If you want to know how well and truly fucked we are, Alex Jones is terrifyingly close to being right about US bombardment of Syria.

"Mainstream media reporting is all one voice against Assad, and Putin, and Iran, and Hezbollah." True. FAIR reported that 26 out of 26 MSM editorials favored the latest [Apr 13] strike. Especially disturbing because the OPCW inspectors hadn't even done their investigation before the missiles flew.
