For much of his adult life, Mr. McCain has gambled as often as once a month, friends and associates said, traveling to Las Vegas for weekend betting marathons. Former senior campaign officials said they worried about Mr. McCain’s patronage of casinos, given the power he wields over the industry

i dont know why the media demand more from our current administration. why do they accept the crumbs of access they are given? they should embarrass them on a nightly basis. its not like they are going to ask hard questions.
classic. even i cant stomach watching mike barnacle sitting in for chris matthews on hardball so i turned to cnn to see some woman sitting in for lou dobbs. shes trying to pin down an obama economic advisor on what his plans would be on shoring up the financial crisis. they dance around the issue for awhile tossing around the usual "my opponents plan sucks" routine yet when he finally relents and starts stating specific proposals in complex economic terms which clearly she nor i completely understood she (more likely the producer in her ear) cuts him off and says thats all the time they have which elicited a wry chuckle from her guest. really a pathetic indictment of the msm. she was never interested in what he had to say only in creating fake drama.

John McCain, who has risen to political prominence on his image as a Vietnam POW war hero, has, inexplicably, worked very hard to hide from the public stunning information about American prisoners in Vietnam who, unlike him, didn't return home. Throughout his Senate career, McCain has quietly sponsored and pushed into federal law a set of prohibitions that keep the most revealing information about these men buried as classified documents. Thus the war hero who people would logically imagine as a determined crusader for the interests of POWs and their families became instead the strange champion of hiding the evidence and closing the books.

more wackiness from the gang at msnbc. matthews decided to grow a pair of hardballs. eyeing that senate seat on pennsylvania seems to have done him some good. although it just might be that he off his meds.
I guess I missed the 9/11 highlights reel. It's their favorite day in the whole world.
Calling them bloodsucking motherfuckers would be an insult to perverted vampires the world over.
