Bill, if you haven't looked at this link in a while, there's a new article from 2002 posted on the site that's worth reading. Did you know that there's a sequel to the film, where Jesco goes to Hollywood to appear on Roseanne?
Looking at the cinefiles logs over the months, this post (and Lucasfilm-related stuff) seem to get the most hits of anything on the page.
