Lance Loud, of An American Family fame, is dead.
PBS New York affiliate channel 13 re-broadcasted the whole series in a 17 hour marathon on New Years day 1990. I'm not sure if this is a yearly tradition or not but maybe they'll do it again this year.
Nope, I searched all PBS scheduling, no American Family re-broadcast listed. I imagine (hope) some affiliates will schedule it soon though. I thought the series was great. I love that family.

I was implying perhaps a return to The Louds and Donahue. I do know that that would be regressive and we're likely better off that history doesn't work that way. I am hopeful that 9-11 put the kibosh on the "reality television" shows but I don't have a tv and I'm not going to do surf through TV Guide's web site (I assume there is one) to find out.
