"On a rather ironic note, though her primary occupation is costume and wardrobe, her feature film debut was completely naked and on a motorcycle in the cult classic, Vanishing Point"

Which by the way I watched last night and despite the surplus of bad acting (you know I'm not talking about Cleavon Little and Dean Jagger) I very much enjoyed. No, and not because of Gilda Texter's nude motorcycle role, I mean all that objectifying of women in movies, the gratuitous nudity and all, it just makes me sick. If you feel the same way don't watch the clip because there's a bit of her in it.

Straight men are so cool when they meet gorgeous naked blonde babes on motorcycles. (I can't believe she actually had to make an effort and flirt with him.)

Well it was a very complex movie. It attempted to debunk the predictability of 60s free love...or not, but it was a pretty surreal scene with her riding around, slowly serpenting in the southern California desert. Not exactly sexy but unexpected and eye catching to say the least. And, Kowalski was on a mission, earlier in the movie he had set the stage for his no-nonsense single-minded determination to make it from Denver to San Fran in 15 hours in a souped up Dodge Challenger with top speed of 160 when he passed on recreation with babes suggested by his dexedrine provider. More importantly, the blonde babe's biker boyfriend was off on a short mission doing surveillance for Kowalski to determine whether Super Soul was setting him up (Kowalski had no way of knowing that some Klan dudes had just beat the shit out of Super Soul). While the blonde babe was definitely into free love, Kowalski was no simple single minded loser maggot bopping another dude's old lady no matter how tempting, and easy. Like I said, it was very complexx.
