the connection
Casavettes admired her work and specifically mentioned The Connection in a few interviews, so I was interested and rented a copy from Kim's. It struck me as interesting in that it was an indy film shot on location in NYC at a time when not much like it was happening. Ultimately I thought it didn't age well and seemed to share more with Dragnet than Shadows or Faces.
