i didnt look at the complete list but a lot of people were expecting to see silence of the lambs in the top ten which must mean that it didnt make the top fifty. also the usual suspect, saving private ryan and the player were shut out as well as internet favorite, the shawshank redemption. and yet out of sight made the top ten which seemed the most out of place selection. its hard to believe jennifer lopez was attached to anything of quality beyond her obvious attributes.

im not sure if dazed and confused would be in my top 5 but i wouldnt be surprised if it were. id probably have boogie nights in that discussion along with rushmore. and its hard to deny the impact of pulp fiction and goodfellas.

and there was more than one heat fan, jim b will be heartened to know.

I don't see any Mike Leigh - Naked was pretty popular. but I'm confused by the page layout and am probably not seeing the whole list. And nothing from Iran? not that I've seen many from there, but the 90's was the heyday of their new-wave, and I hope I wouldn't attempt such a list without admitting that it is really 50 best american films of the 90's with a few foreigns sprinkled in.

naked is there and so is at least one iranian movie. the chart was chopped into three articles. there over on the right hand column on the top.
