im sure its not what you are thinking. hollywood "loves" hillary. though if anyone might have some insights into what went on its doug liman. his father was chief counsel for the senates investigation into iran contra!
plus its release date is after the election.
Wasn't even thinking about the election (which is crazy, because of course what you are suggesting I am suggesting is something I might well suggest....) I just mean that anyone paying attention to the whole Barry Seal thing is pretty strange, like opening a can of worms. And which can of worms is currently being funded to be opened up is interesting. But honestly, I don't mean in terms of Hillary being possibly connected to Mena or whatever....

there was a bidding war (supposedly) for the script or the book it was based on). hollywood will never tire of drug dealer/smuggling stories with dark undertones of government conspiracies. ron howard was originally attached to direct. doesnt get anymore mainstream hollywood than that.
