The National Film Preservation Foundation has announced the line-up for its new two-DVD box set, Treasures IV: American Avant-Garde Film, 1947-1986. Treasures IV presents works by 27 artists—from Bruce Baillie to Andy Warhol—who worked outside the mainstream and redefined American cinema in the decades following World War II. The set (list price $44.99) will be released on March 3, 2009, and distributed by Image Entertainment.
