I'd nuke it or it will just get worse. I think they google for where their competitors have spammed so they can add their own. So each spam is like a magnet, especially once it gets indexed by google.
(That is sort of speculation, but it really seems as if it clumps like that so I'm pretty sure something like that is happening.)
