Great rant.
I worked in a chain pizza restaurant as a youth and on "all you could eat night" people would pile chicken and fries and pizza on their plates and eat down till the food got cold and then go get some more, add it to the top of the heap, eat down, etc. so that at the end of the night we had to bus these "failure bowls" heaped with uneaten starch off the tables.
