run to you
walked down to east river park a couple of times this week and plunk my lazy ass down by the track near 6th st. i dont have enough in me to exercise but i can manage to watch others sweat and strain. and i can still muster up the energy to be annoyed by something. each time ive been there one person on the track has decided to run against traffic much to my consternation. why when everyone is running counterclockwise must someone go against the grain? one wonders why everyone is running counterclockwise but i think that is the norm. maybe it has to do with handedness.

i did just read that it might be injury related that people occasionally run against the grain so ill cut them some slack in the future.

maybe the strain on the left side of the body is greater on the turns. also just the repetitive stresses. are you suggesting i should still think theyre assholes?

never. i think you should go out there and run with them.

it would be a lot easier just to think them assholes.

never been a big fan of jogging, that and id have trouble making it once around the track. more inclined to take a soccerball out and run back and forth across the field. for now its walking though.

From the google maps, looks like a nice park. You could get your walking done by treating the infield of the track as a really big croquet pitch.
